The El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), a center led by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, has vast data holdings that include information from many federal, state, and local agencies. The kind of information that EPIC can provide to local police departments leads to important seizures and arrests. Last year, the center handled more than 75,000 queries from federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement officers in all 50 states. Cover photographs courtesy of the El Paso Intelligence Center.
