Insignia product

FiberLok announces Lextra, a lightweight, high-performance material suitable for use on today’s lightweight and quick-dry textiles. Lextra Fiber Graphics use a patented heat-transfer process that adheres colored fibers, called flock, to other materials. Logos and other insignias created using this technology are nearly indestructible. Already found on every United Parcel Service truck driver’s shirt and the uniforms of all 30 Major League Baseball teams, Lextra designs can be fused permanently to a wide variety of materials specially matched to the intended end use.

Lightbar

Emergency lighting

The RX 2700 Lightbar is the newest addition to Code 3’s line of emergency lighting products. Just 2.7 inches tall, it delivers unobstructed 360-degree warning and enhanced signal power. The included PriZm LED reflector/optic lightheads provide a signal using 3 or 8 LED modules in front and rear positions and 12 LED modules for a 90-degree corner signal. With its modular design and room for numerous LED, halogen, and incandescent options, the RX 2700 is designed to be customized for any requirement. The lightbar can also be equipped with a NarrowStik directional signal.

Mobile7 Screenshot
Field reporting client

Mobile7, from CODY Systems, allows users to perform field functions and continue to process reports in areas with a great signal or no wireless signal at all. The system automatically detects when a signal is lost and enables an auto-cache mode. Users can continue to write reports, update records, issue electronic citations, and more while the system searches for a signal. Once it senses that coverage has been restored, all changes made while disconnected are automatically posted to the central database in the order in which the user entered them and all in sync with other connected or disconnected users.

Safety jackets

Airprotek International introduces a new line of Safety Rider jackets and vests using the Hit-Air system. This system uses armor to protect the shoulders, elbows, and spine, but it also incorporates an air cushion system. Should a rider be thrown from a motorcycle in an accident, the air cushion is designed to inflate within half a second to protect the rider’s body. When rider and motorcycle are separated, a coiled wire attached to both the motorcycle and the jacket pulls a “key” out of a gas release system, and inert gas inflates the cushion. After a few seconds, the gas is automatically released.
