he International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Section, in conjunction with the Atlanta, Georgia, Police Department, recently held the 34th annual IACP LEIM Training Conference and Exposition at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, May 24–27, 2010. The conference’s focus was to enhance law enforcement’s efficiency and effectiveness with technology. Panels of subject matter experts from around the region and world shared leading practices and lessons learned in the application of technology to fight crime and improve department efficiency. Topic areas ranged from information sharing, communications, and interoperability to intelligence, policy, and development.
