Legislative Alert: Senate Passes IACP-Supported Measures

In March 13, the U.S. Senate passed homeland security legislation that contains several provisions strongly supported by the IACP. The Improving America’s Security Act of 2007 (S. 4) is the Senate counterpart to U.S. House of Representatives legislation (H.R. 1) designed to implement the recommendation of the 9/11 Commission. The House approved H.R. 1 in early January.
