A new podcast focuses on the future of public safety: 10-2 Blue Brief: Emerging Tech & Innovation in Law Enforcement. The series dives deep into the tools, platforms, and technologies transforming how agencies prevent crime, respond to emergencies, and protect both officers and the communities they serve and explores ethical considerations, policy implications, and the balance between innovation and accountability. The backbone of each conversation will be FirstNet and its continued impact on law enforcement efficiency and effectiveness at responding to crime. Data Management & Automated Redaction

Pimloc, in partnership with Dynamic Workflow Solutions (DWS), delivers a joint solution for public safety agencies that combines data management and automated redaction of personally identifiable information from video, audio, and documents. Body-worn cameras, CCTV, mobile footage, and social media content are now routine parts of investigations, requiring time-consuming processing before the footage can be reviewed and manual redaction before it can be shared. At the same time, requests for access—including FOIA requests—are increasing. Casings Crusher

Live-fire training is a daily reality for law enforcement, with thousands of rounds expended during a training cycle. BCA’s Cartridge Crusher RLLR-4001-0001 Roller Mill is an industrial-grade solution engineered to streamline the processing of spent ammunition casings. Speed Detection Camera

Westcotec presents the Automatic Speed Watch Camera (ASWC) with image processing technology from IDS Imaging Development Systems. The system detects vehicles exceeding a defined speed limit and captures a high-resolution image, recording the license plate and vehicle details such as make, model, and color, as well as its speed and the date and time. Tasmanian Tiger announces a new modular load-bearing solution: the TT Modular Chest Rig 4xM4. The TT Modular Chest Rig 4xM4 is a flat, lightweight (weighing only 1.9 lbs. or 0.866 kg) chest rig featuring four fixed rifle magazine pouches and integrated compatibility with size M SAPI plates. It can be worn alone, attached to plate carriers as a front panel, or combined with the new TT Modular Chest Rig Pack. Streamlight, Inc., has launched the Portable Scene Light III (PSL III), a high-output, waterproof lighting system for emergency response and outdoor applications. The PSL III delivers powerful, adaptable performance featuring 12 LEDs with wide-pattern reflectors, providing uniform scene illumination and three output levels to match the task. High provides 10,000 lumens and 121,000 candela with a two-hour run time. Medium offers 5,000 lumens and 61,000 candela with four-hour operation. Low delivers 2,500 lumens and 38,000 candela with up to eight hours of run time. The PSL III features a 5-in-1 modular design and a lightweight tripod with a built-in carry handle.
