Despite the tremendous increases in information sharing and operational collaboration between international, federal, state, and local police agencies in the nearly 25 years since the deadly 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States, there is still a persistent and credible threat posed by terrorist actors against innocent civilians across the globe.
