Neurolinguistic programming (NLP) techniques are popular with law enforcement officials for uncovering deception during interrogations. As a result of this popularity, various communities are witnessing the widespread application of NLP techniques to both interviews and interrogations. The purpose of this article is to explore the validity of detecting deception by using NLP techniques.
