Modern law enforcement is a profession committed to enhancing public safety. The IACP allows the vast array of sworn and non-sworn law enforcement colleagues from varying backgrounds, areas of expertise, cultures, and nations to share best practices, lessons learned, technology, and so much more to serve communities. As I was returning to law enforcement after several years in the intelligence community, I knew that the IACP would be an incredible resource to reconnect with old colleagues and form new professional relationships and friendships with those in the field.
